Putting the past in it’s place

Co-vid is over people. Co-vid is long gone. Co-vid has been over for years and years. It’s old news. It’s not news today. It’s creepy when someone says because Co-vid and list reasons why their business is doing poorly. Co-vid was terrible, it lasted for years, many people died. Many people lost their businesses and their savings.

Co-vid is over. The pandemic is over. The pandemic and co-vid are gone and of the past and the reason why I’m bringing them up is to say people come across as a winey fool when bringing up co-vid like it’s a current matter. The only current topic co-vid relates to is few and far between people who are holding onto co-vid like it’s a thing and have a difficult time living in the present Spring 2025. For years the vast majority of people are not suffering from a rampant contagious disease.

And for years people are not being asked to shelter in place. The only place where co-vid should be in today’s world is a memory of the past. Don’t let the past take too much time today. Successful history teachers know to live in the present, moment by moment and know how to put a history topic whether it was good or was negative in the context of the past.
