I’m a proud Coloradan

Today is Colorado’s 150th year of Statehood. I was born in Colorado and grew up a lot in Colorado. I live in Oregon I am proud to call home. Every State and place on Earth has benefits and challenges. I learned very much growing up in Colorado and am learning to this day. Colorado taught me what I needed to know growing up. Lessons I learned living in Colorado were simple and very difficult. Since moving to live in Oregon 9.5 years ago I retained the lessons that mattered most. Living in Rogue Valley and in Medford I consider a blessing. I am proud to live in Oregon. Life is what you make it. Life is good here. Since moving to Oregon it hasn’t all been easy. I wasn’t expecting easy. Much of the difficulties I experienced when I moved to Oregon in 2018 are a part of my past. I’ve come along way by learning from past experiences and living in the present. Today I’m going to spend some time appreciating Colorado’s 150th from a distance and enjoy the best of many things living in Oregon has to offer.
